Hey! I'm Kay.
I’m a pastor, writer, gardener, reader, and enthusiastic cat-cuddler living near Seattle, Washington. I’m married to Stephen, and we have three kids almost out of the nest.
For years, I served in pastoral ministry, most recently as the Women & Communication Pastor at a local church, and I’m currently writing while discerning what’s next in my vocational calling.
I write to help people, especially women, become Bible-savvy. By savvy, I mean the kind of scriptural understanding that forms good judgment, resists manipulation, and refuses fear-based interpretations. I write about Scripture, women, and faithful interpretation.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Film Production and a Master of Divinity in Theological Studies. My hope is that this space encourages you to read Scripture boldly and think critically. Women, I want you to embrace your vital role in God’s story with no qualifiers, no fine print, and no strings attached.
